Juniors Dan Mooney and Alex Green were both defeated in Friday night's quarterfinal round of the Region 6 Wrestling Tournament. Mooney was pinned by top-seeded BJ Young of Jackson Memorial, while Green lost by fall to Ocean's Ricky Lyster.
Mooney and Green now move into the single elimination wrestleback bracket which begins Saturday morning. Mooney will face 5th-seeded Chris VanFechtman of Raritan. Green goes up against 8th-seeded Chris Howley of Matawan.

Juniors Dan Mooney (125) and Alex Green (Hwt) wrestled their way to a 2nd place finish at heavyweight and senior Brandon Lintner bounced back from an upset loss in the semis to take 3rd as all three wrestlers qualified for the Region 6 Tournament and will be in action on Tuesday night at the Ritacco.
Lintner will be facing Marlboro's Paul Saraiva in one of the more anticipated matchups of the night, while Green squares off against Brick's Charles Rusignuolo and Mooney goes against Jake Scire of Rumson.

Juniors Dan Mooney and Alex Green were both defeated in Friday night's quarterfinal round of the Region 6 Wrestling Tournament. Mooney was pinned by top-seeded BJ Young of Jackson Memorial, while Green lost by fall to Ocean's Ricky Lyster.
Mooney and Green now move into the single elimination wrestleback bracket which begins Saturday morning. Mooney will face 5th-seeded Chris VanFechtman of Raritan. Green goes up against 8th-seeded Chris Howley of Matawan.

Juniors Dan Mooney (125) and Alex Green (Hwt) wrestled their way to a 2nd place finish at heavyweight and senior Brandon Lintner bounced back from an upset loss in the semis to take 3rd as all three wrestlers qualified for the Region 6 Tournament and will be in action on Tuesday night at the Ritacco.
Lintner will be facing Marlboro's Paul Saraiva in one of the more anticipated matchups of the night, while Green squares off against Brick's Charles Rusignuolo and Mooney goes against Jake Scire of Rumson.
